Harry and Meghan are getting married in what will surely be an epic wedding at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, May 2018, Us Weekly . The service will begin at 7:00 am EST. Then, an hour later, the motorcade will leave, according to People .
And this holiday is not just reserved for members of the royal family: the couple invites 2460 members of the public on the grounds of Windsor Castle for the wedding, reports People .
"They want their wedding day organized so that members of the public feel part of the celebrations," said a Kensington Palace press release. "This wedding, like all weddings, will be a moment of pleasure and joy that will reflect the characters and values of the newlyweds."
Of the nearly 2,500 guests, 1,200 will be appointed by the Lord Lieutenants, who serve as personal representatives of the Queen in each county of the United Kingdom.
According to the couples' request, the guests will include young people who have proven to be strong community leaders, according to Kensington Palace. Two hundred other guests will come from charities to which Meghan and Harry are associated, including WellChild and Invictus Games. 100 more children will be present in local schools.
That being said, these guests will only be present for the procession and the departure of St. George's Chapel, and not for the entire ceremony. And ordinary members of the public are also welcome to watch their car procession past the castle walls. (Flights to the United Kingdom, Anyone?)
