Every morning, I watch the bottle of ACV in my fridge, working the courage to take a sip. Again. Returning to the flavor that I like best-apple-turmeric-help. I also take my guts at different times of the day
But, aside from sweets, I must confess that I have not noticed a big change in my health. Since I do not have high blood pressure or cholesterol and I am already at a healthy weight, I ask Rankell: Is there any interest in continuing with LCA? (Here's how to lower your cholesterol naturally with food.)
His answer is no. "Blood pressure and cholesterol will decrease with any weight loss or improved eating habits," she says. "I did not demonstrate that LCA had a significant effect."
But if I continue to take it, Rankell recommends diluting it and reducing it – let's just say one teaspoon or two in hot water, tea or salad dressing.
Despite his words of caution, I admit that I will most likely be loyal to the LCA. I like the taste, the sugar cravings do not miss me and, let's be honest, there is nothing wrong with striving to be in better health, even if that 39, is a healthier teaspoon each day. Your body is a temple and all that.
If you decide to do the same thing, check with your doctor first.
